The ones worth pulling out.

Tesla Supercharger — Merritt (Airport)
★★
Merritt, BC

"The older Supercharger out near the airport feels a bit forgotten and the stalls were dirty. Walmart close by for a washroom, Best Western to sleep. If you have the range, the newer De Wolf Way one is nicer."

Tesla Supercharger — Cache Creek
★★★★★
Cache Creek, BC

"Great little stop right in the centre of Cache Creek, the old gold rush town. Sits near the tourist information, and the town looks like it has barely changed since the 1800s."

Tesla Supercharger — Williams Lake
★★★★★
Williams Lake, BC

"Walmart right there for washrooms and cheap food, a liquor store and discount clothes, so you can knock a few things off the list while you charge. Charged nice and fast."

Tesla Supercharger — Cottonwood Mall
★★★★
Chilliwack, BC

"Great spot if you actually want to get things done while you charge. Washrooms, a grocery store, Canadian Tire and London Drugs all a short walk away. Only gripe is the ground at the stalls is a bit uneven."

Tesla Supercharger — Kamloops
★★★★
Tk'emlups te Secwepemc, BC

"Handy stop just outside Kamloops. There is a squeegee to clean your windshield, a trash can, a washroom at the Chester's Chicken right beside it, and picnic tables to eat at while you charge."

Tesla Supercharger — Valemount
★★★★★
Valemount, BC

"Beautiful place to charge, right by the visitor centre with a jaw dropping snow capped mountain looking right at you. One of the prettier Supercharger views of the whole trip."

Tesla Supercharger — Valleyview
★★★★
Valleyview, AB

"Our first Supercharger after the long northern stretch with no chargers at all, all the way over in Alberta. Clean and easy, next to a gas station and the Paradise Inn with food nearby. A very welcome sight."

Tesla Supercharger — Edson
★★★★
Edson, AB

"We got here the adventurous way, taking the Kaybob forest road all the way from Fox Creek, so we rolled in covered in dust. Open lot with a Boston Pizza and a few other spots close by for food."

Tesla Supercharger — Jasper
★★★★★
Jasper, AB

"Beautiful place to charge, with mountain views right in front of you and the railway running past. Several stalls plus another network right beside them. Hard to beat the setting."

Tesla Supercharger — Prince George
★★★★
Prince George, BC

"The last Tesla Supercharger heading north in BC, so top up here because there are none between here and Dawson Creek. Sits in a shopping plaza with a grocery store and shops right there."

BC Hydro Charging — Azouzetta Lake
★★★★
Highway 97, BC

"A lifesaver on Highway 97, because there are no Tesla Superchargers between Prince George and Dawson Creek. Beautiful spot, we even flew the drone while we charged."

BC Hydro Charging — East Pine Rest Area
★★
Groundbirch, BC

"A BC Hydro Level 2 in the middle of nowhere. Slow, around 50 km per hour, so budget about three and a half hours to 80 percent. Toilets on site and it was actually working. Bring patience."

BC Hydro Charging — Chetwynd
★★★
Chetwynd, BC

"A BC Hydro fast charger with two connectors. Handy on the northern route. Note for Tesla drivers: these are CCS and CHAdeMO, so newer Teslas need an adapter and older ones like mine cannot use them at all."

100 Mile Motel & RV Park
★★★★★
100 Mile House, BC

"A real family owned motel, not a chain. Spotless, they even fold the towels into origami swans, real cups and Van Houtte coffee, and a plug for the Tesla. No AC and it is right on the highway, but I slept wonderfully."

Bedrock Inn
★★★★★
Fox Creek, AB

"The front desk was so friendly, no strict checkout, just drop the key in the room. Spotless and smelled fresh, comfy bed, AC, a plug for the Tesla, and an ice cream stand nearby. Fox Creek is dusty but not a speck in the bed."

McDonald's — Edson
★★★★
Edson, AB

"Perfect stop for an EV, the Supercharger is right next door so you eat while the car charges. Friendly staff, quick service, and the McValue menu is genuinely good value. Clean washrooms too."

World's Largest Cross-Country Skis
★★★★★
100 Mile House, BC

"A fun roadside landmark by the visitor centre. The world's largest cross-country skis, 36 feet tall and 600 pounds, dedicated by Rick Hansen in 1987. Quick, free, and a great photo stop."

Mile Zero Post — Alaska Highway
★★★★★
Dawson Creek, BC

"The classic Mile 0 photo spot, the tall red and white signpost everyone stops for at the very start of the Alaska Highway. Good to know this is the tourist photo version and the real cairn is nearby."

Alaska Highway Sign — Visitor Centre
★★★★★
Dawson Creek, BC

"The official start of the Alaska Highway. The US Army built the entire route to Alaska in just eight months back in 1942, and Dawson Creek was chosen because the railway ended here, the last link in the supply chain."

Mountain Retreat
★★★★★
Hope, BC

"So quiet at night you forget the city exists, yet still just minutes from downtown, the perfect mix. The wifi was even strong enough to upload our videos, which is rare for a place this tucked away."

Alpine Motel
★★★★★
Hope, BC

"The kitchenette was an actual kitchen with a stove, fridge and pots and pans... Tesla parked right at the door and Save-On Foods next door for groceries."

Land Cafe
★★★★★
Chilliwack, BC

"The cold brew was excellent, friendly staff, beautiful view, and easy parking right out front with ChargePoint stations to top up while you sip."

Red Coat Inn
★★★★★
Fort Macleod, AB

"Open the door and the place smells like fresh paint, linens are thick, everything's new enough that you want to take your shoes off."

Rondo Motel
★★★★★
Golden, BC

"Outside plugs on the property, so we charged our Tesla Model X overnight from the room."

Maple Leaf Motel & RV Resort
★★★★
Oliver, BC

"A courtyard with picnic tables and an RV park next door where people actually cook out and talk to you."

Canmore Inn & Suites
★★★★
Canmore, AB

"Breakfast was comped for us, and front desk honored a price match when I asked."

Angry Otter Liquor
★★★★
Penticton, BC

"If you're charging at the Penticton supercharger, this is the closest beer run."

The Lodge at Calgary
★★★★★
Calgary, AB

"The waitress wanted to be a sommelier and it showed."

Longview Jerky Shop
★★★★
Longview, AB (Cowboy Trail)

"The whole shop smells like meat the way a bakery smells like bread."

Blind Bay Country Market
★★★★
Blind Bay, BC

"The superchargers next door were mostly taken by gas cars, but I won't hold that against the market."

More on the way.

The Hope supercharger reviews land here next. The cross-Canada trip this fall fills in the rest.
